Meet our Third Grade Team
Ms Costello has taught at Eagle View for 9 years. This is her second year as the local Level IV third grade teacher. She earned her Master of Science in education from Eastern Illinois University. There, she met her husband, Tom. They were married in 2007 and just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Together they have a fiercely independent four-year-old daughter, Arden. Ms. Costello moved here from Chicago and is a huge Cubs fan. She enjoys beach vacations with friends and family, as well as staying in with a bowl of popcorn and Netflix. She also lives across the street and walks to school everyday.
Ms. Eversburg is very excited to be joining the Eagle View team! She began her education career back in 2014 and graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education from George Mason University. She then returned to George Mason University to pursue her Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and recently graduated. Ms. Eversburg has had many experiences working in various school settings in Fairfax County. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance Justin and their dog Fiona as well as her friends and family, and watching Netflix!
Mrs. Roach is excited to join the Eagle View Family. She started her teaching career at Freedom Hill Elementary, where she taught 3rd and 5th Grade. Mrs. Roach attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a Specialization in Reading. In May of 2018, she earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and School Policy from Virginia Tech. Mrs. Roach loves exploring museums and taking road trips to new places with her husband and daughter, Harper Ann.
Ms. Van Tassel is excited to join the Eagle View community this year. She began her education career as a Kindergarten Assistant at Woodlawn Elementary in the Mount Vernon Pyramid while attending George Mason University as an undergraduate. Afterward, Ms. Van Tassel pursued her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. In her free time Ms. Van Tassel enjoys knitting, playing video games, and spending a lot of time with her family.
Ms. Zembriski joined the Eagle View Staff in 2016! This will be her second year working as a primary special education teacher. She started her teaching career in a private preschool in 2014 and prior to that worked closely with students with disabilities in an adaptive recreation program. From her experiences, she has worked with a large range of students, in regards to abilities and ages. Ms. Zembriski attended George Mason University for both her bachelor's and master's programs. She earned degrees and certifications in Elementary Education, Autism Studies, and Special Education. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, spending time with her family, reading, watching movies and cooking!
