Meet our Preschool Team
Ms. Denise Simms joined Fairfax County Public Schools in 1999. She has worked as a teacher for 1-2 graders with autism, as a preschool autism teacher and as a teacher in the Early Childhood Class Based Program. Ms. Simms received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Virginia Tech and her masters degree in early childhood special education from George Mason University. She is a true animal lover. Travel is her passion and It is her goal to visit every state in the United States within the next five years. Ms. Simms loves to volunteer to help others, to dance (she is on a hip hop team and sometimes teaches dance) and to be with loved ones.
Joyce Mazmanian has been working at Eagle View since they opened. She is happily married and is the proud mother of two wonderful daughters. She is a family oriented person with a great sense of humor and a passion for life. An interesting fact about Joyce is that she is tri-lingual, speaking English, French and Arabic. Some of her interests include spending time with friends and family, cooking, the beach, playing tennis, movies, travelling, but most importantly shopping! Some of Joyce's favorite sayings are "life is beautiful" and "everything happens for a reason."
Ms. Jensen joined Eagle View in January of 2018 as a preschool special education teacher. Prior to teaching at Eagle View, she was an instructional assistant in a preschool at Pimmit Hills. She earned her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University. She has four adult children and had her first grandchild last year. She enjoys playing with kids and reading stories to them. In her spare time she likes to read, knit, sew, create on her Cricut machine and go for walks with her husband.
Mrs. Haidy Azer joined Fairfax County Public Schools in 2017. She worked as a substitute teacher for different grades throughout the years. In November 2017, she joined Eagle View Elementary School as an assistant teacher in the Early Childhood Class for Preschool age. Earlier she worked as an assistant teacher with this age for 7 years @ St. George Coptic school in Egypt . Mrs. Azer received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Helwan University. She is a great mother for one daughter and double trouble crazy twin boys. Mrs. Azer is very talented in dealing with kids. My hobby is drawing and oil painting on canvas, Moral Glasses and Mosaic. I am always looking for the best for my family and my kids. In my free time I like to play with my kids, see movies, drive my car, and take my meditation time with music.
Miss Diana Grace is so excited to join the Eagle View team this year as a Preschool Teacher! She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Christopher Newport University and her masters degree from George Mason University in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She is a product of Fairfax County Public Schools and is excited to be teaching in the school system that she grew up in. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
