Kyungjoo An
Ms. An is a proud alumnus of Fairfax County Public Schools. She started her career in FCPS as a Kindergarten teacher in 2001. In 2006, Ms. An joined Eagle View Elementary school as one of the charter members when the school first opened. During her ten years at Eagle View as a classroom teacher, Ms. An was named a National Board Certified Teacher in 2007, and this honor was renewed in 2017.
Ms. An holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Foreign Language with a concentration in Spanish and Early Childhood Education from James Madison University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning (ASTL) from George Mason University, and an Administration and Supervision Endorsement from the University of Virginia. Ms. An has a strong belief in the power of relationships and the importance of ensuring that ALL students and families feel seen, heard, and connected to their school community.
Ellyn Bowman
Mrs. Bowman began her career as a learning disabilities teacher in 3rd through 8th grades in Chesapeake, Virginia at Great Bridge and Western Branch Schools. During this time, she also enjoyed coaching varsity volleyball and swim teams. After marrying her best friend 22 years ago, Mrs. Bowman started her journey in FCPS at Key Middle and Katherine Johnson Middle. After 10 years in the classroom, Ms. Bowman served in various leadership positions including Local Screening Chair, LEAD intern, and Educational Specialist. Most recently, Ms. Bowman practiced as assistant principal at Irving and Stone Middle Schools. In May 2017, Mrs. Bowman was recognized by Stone Middle as an Outstanding Leader. While she will miss her Stone family, she is eager to build strong relationships with students, staff and families at Eagle View.
Mrs. Bowman has a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in early childhood, a master’s degree in Special Education from Old Dominion University, and an educational specialist degree in leadership from George Washington University. She was born with sand and salt water in her veins from the beaches of Hampton Roads. Mrs. Bowman is the proud mother to two high school aged children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to a good book, and taking long walks.
Kaitlin Wilson-Vogel
Ms. Wilson began her teaching career as a Comprehensive Services Site emotional disabilities teacher at Saratoga Elementary. After transitioning to Fairfax Villa Elementary, Ms. Wilson served in various teaching and administrative roles including intellectual disabilities teacher, learning disabilities teacher, co-teacher, special education department chair, summer site director, and extended school year administrator. In May 2022, Ms. Wilson was recognized as the Region 5 Outstanding Elementary Teacher.
Ms. Wilson obtained dual bachelor's degrees from Bloomsburg University in both early childhood and special education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. She was born and raised in New Jersey and often travels to Rhode Island to visit family. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, going to the beach, live music, and long walks with her pup!
