Mrs. Iyer became principal of Eagle View in July 2017. She was born in India and came to the US in the early 70s. She attended George Mason University with a BA in English Literature. She also has a Masters of Education with an ESOL endorsement from Marymount University. She received her Administration and Supervision endorsement from the University of Virginia. She began her career in education in 1993 as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. She then worked as an ESOL teacher for several years and also spent time in the Office of Language Acquisition/Title I. She then transitioned to becoming an Administrative Intern and then an Assistant Principal for 5 years. She has presented at several conferences throughout the state of Virginia and has also been an Adjunct professor at George Mason University. Mrs. Iyer enjoys spending time with her children and husband. They are a basketball family as both her son and daughter play basketball and her husband coaches.
Beth Levy is excited to join the Eagle View Elementary School Community as Assistant Principal. Prior to Eagle View Elementary School, Ms. Levy was Assistant Principal at Willow Springs Elementary School, Assessment Coach at Robinson Secondary School, and Director of Students Services at Rocky Run Middle School. She earned her M.S. at the University of Rochester and her M.Ed. at George Mason University. Ms. Levy has been a National Certified Counselor since 1999 and is also a Board Certified Coach. Ms. Levy resides in Fairfax with her two children. She enjoys participating in community service activities
Ms. Hightower joined Eagle View Elementary as an Assistant Principal in July 2018. This is Ms. Hightower’s 19th year in public school education. Prior to joining the Eagle View family, she served as a behavior specialist for seven years and a special education teacher for twelve years. Ms. Hightower earned a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Kean University, a M.T. in Psychology and Special Education from Hampton University, and her administration certification from Georgia State University. In addition, Ms. Hightower completed an A.B.A. certification at George Mason University. She lives in Fairfax County and enjoy spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
