Meet our Special Education Team
This is Mr. Mossburg's 4th year at Eagle View as the Crisis Resource Teacher since joining the school team in August 2015. He began his teaching career for Fairfax County in August of 2008 as a Special Education Teacher at Poe Middle School, specializing in 6th grade science. He earned his bachelor's degree from George Mason University in Exercise Science, and then went on to receive his Master's Degree in Special Education as well. He is currently in the graduate program at the University of Virginia earning his master's degree in Administration and Supervision. He is a father of 3 amazing children and husband to a superb wife, who is also a teacher in Fairfax County. In his free time he enjoys woodworking, spending time with family, and making dad jokes.
Ms. Martin is new to Eagle View this year but spent many days as a substitute last year at Eagle View. She will be joining the CSS department as an Instructional Assistant. Ms. Martin graduated from James Madison University in 2012 with her undergraduate degree in International Affairs. She has one dog named Amber and hopes to get another dog soon so that Amber won't be lonely. Ms. Martin is a proud Washington D.C. sports fan and Real Madrid supporter
Mrs. Carvajal joined the staff of Eagle View as the 3/4 teacher in the CSS program in August 2018. She started her teaching career as an Enhanced Autism Teacher for grades K-6 at Lutie Lewis Coates Elementary in 2013. Mrs. Carvajal received her Undergraduate Degree in Social Work from Frostburg State University and a Masters Degree in Special Education from George Mason University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 year old daughter Lilly Rose and her 2 beagles Lucy and Wall-e.
Mrs. Graham is new to the Eagle View family beginning the 2018-2019 school year as a member of the CSS Team. She began her teaching career at an alternative High School for 2 years in which she greatly enjoyed but upon her completion of her Masters Degree in Special Education in May, 2018 she decided that she wanted to expand and take her talents to the Elementary School level of education. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mrs. Graham was a counselor for 4 years working with students at risk of being placed out of the general education setting. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, enjoying the outdoors, attending extracurricular activities for her children and spending time with family and friends.
This is Mrs. Kitts’ second year at Eagle View Elementary School. She started in Fairfax County at Camelot Elementary as an Instructional Assistant for 7 years. She received her bachelor's degree from Molloy College in Mathematics Secondary Education and is currently working on her master's degree in Special Education at George Mason University. When not at school, Mrs. Kitts spends her time at home in Maryland with her husband and four kids.
Ms. Marino joined Eagle View as a Special Education Teacher in 2017. She has been working in Fairfax County since 2015. Ms. Marino graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York with her undergraduate degree in English Literature with a concentration in Elementary and Special Education. And she just recently graduated from George Mason with a Master's in Literacy. Ms. Marino loves animals, playing softball with her friends, and traveling. She also has a passion for photography and can be found in local parks trying to capture the perfect photo.
Ms. Zembriski joined the Eagle View Staff in 2016! This will be her second year working as a primary special education teacher. She started her teaching career in a private preschool in 2014 and prior to that worked closely with students with disabilities in an adaptive recreation program. From her experiences, she has worked with a large range of students, in regards to abilities and ages. Ms. Zembriski attended George Mason University for both her bachelor's and master's programs. She earned degrees and certifications in Elementary Education, Autism Studies, and Special Education. Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, spending time with her family, reading, watching movies and cooking!
Mr. Scarborough is entering his tenth year with Fairfax County Public Schools, his fifth year at Eagle View, and his fifth year as a special education teacher. An FCPS alumnus, Mr. Scarborough earned a bachelor's degree in music composition from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio, as well as a master's degree in special education from the University of Virginia. At Eagle View, he enjoys occasionally accompanying chorus concerts; outside of Eagle View, he enjoys composing original music and musicals. Mr. Scarborough's wife has also worked for five years as a special educator within FCPS. They both frequently work as cast and/or crew in for local community theater productions.
Ms. Donohue joined Eagle View in 2008. She graduated from James Madison University with her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and started her journey at Eagle View Elementary School as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. During this time she attended George Mason University to obtain her Master's degree in Special Education. After graduating from George Mason, she began teaching at Eagle View Elementary School as a third grade Special Education teacher. She has been working as a fourth grade Special Education teacher for the past 5 years and is excited to join the 5th grade team this year! She enjoys the long-lasting and collaborative friendships she has made with her coworkers across all grade levels. In her free time, Ms. Donohue loves taking yearly trips to Disney World, reading any and everything, and spending time with her fiancé, friends, family and her sweet Bichon Frise, Weston.
Mrs. Williams joined Eagle view as a special education teacher in 2009. She started her teaching career as a special education teacher in Fairfax County in 2002. Prior to working at Eagle View, Mrs. Williams taught special education and 2 years of general education at Hutchison Elementary. Mrs. Williams graduated from Geneva College with a dual degree in General Education and Special Education. She earned her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. When not at Eagle View, Mrs. Williams enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Mrs. Mardani joined Eagle View as the Special Education teacher in August 2018. She started her teaching career as a high school teacher in Fairfax County in 2005. Prior to working at Eagle View, Mrs. Mardani taught math at Annandale High School. Mrs. Mardani earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems at University of Houston and a Master of Education in Learning Disabilities from University of Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children Nick and Hannah and her Shih Tzu puppy, Daisy.
Ms. Sediqi joined Eagle View Elementary as an Office Assistant in August 2009. Prior to this she was working at Frost Middle School, and before that she worked at Holmes Middle School as a library assistant. Before her time working with FCPS, she worked as an accountant for Canon USA from 1989-1999. Her educational background includes a B.S. in chemistry and biology from college in Afghanistan. She also has an associate’s degree in accounting which she earned at NOVA college. Ms. Sediqi loves outdoor activities especially with her dog, Baby.
Pam joined Eagle View ES as a CSS IA in August 2018. She previously worked as an IA at South Lakes High School in Reston, scheduling Special Education meetings and later accompanying IDS students to community work settings. Pam has an MA in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Michigan and is currently a student in UVA's PGMT program in Special Education. Before settling in Virginia, she raised her three sons while accompanying her husband on several Foreign Service postings abroad.
Hee Jung Moon has has been teaching in schools for 20 years including international schools in Asia. This is her first year working at Eagle View Elementary School. She is a proud mom of two children. Both of her kids attended Eagle View. Her son is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, and he is currently pursuing the pre-med track. Her daughter is a motivated and driven Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Her family - including herself, of course - loves to travel to different parts of the world. They plan to go to Spain this coming spring.
Mrs. Harper joined Eagle View in 2014 as a Special Education IA. She has 15 years experience with FCPS working at Fairfax Villa and Colin Powell ES before joining Eagle View. Mrs. Harper is a proud graduate of FCPS and has a BS in Business Management from George Mason University. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, exploring Virginia, reading and spending time with her three adult children.
Mrs. Neves joined Eagle View as a Public Health Attendant (PHA) in July 2018. She has been working as a PHA for Fairfax County Schools since 2010. Prior to working at Eagle View, Mrs. Neves Worked at Poplar Tree Elementary School as a PHA/PHTA, where she helped out in ID/IDS classrooms. In her spare time, Mrs. Neves likes to listen to music and go on long walks.
