End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Writing
By June 2019, 100% of students in grade K-6 will earn or 3 or higher on the FCPS narrative or informative explanatory writing rubric in the area of structure and organization.
Strategy 1: At Eagle View, we will implement best practices in writing instruction using the FCPS Planning Pacing Guide using the Writer’s Workshop Model.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Math
By June 2019, a minimum of 80% of students will score at the Pass Proficient or Pass Advanced as measured by the Spring 2019 Math SOL (unadjusted). A minimum of 35% of students with disabilities will score at the Pass Proficient or Pass Advanced as measured by the Spring 2019 Math SOL (unadjusted).
Strategy 1: At Eagle View, we will continue to strengthen components of math workshop across all grade levels.
Strategy 2: At Eagle View, the special education team will meet in biweekly CLTs and participate in grade level CLTs they support.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome: Portrait of a Graduate
By June 2019, all teachers will implement at least two meaningful learning experiences aligned with the POG Attributes Communicator and Collaborator by embedding POG in their planning.
Strategy 1: At Eagle View, we will develop a shared understanding of POG Attributes and implement with fidelity through meaningful learning experiences.
